Top 5 Best Beaches In The World

Canceling travel plans at the last minute can be extremely frustrating. Speaking of unforeseen cancellations, I had to postpone my trip to Cape Town due to the pandemic. Trust me, I know what it feels like. At one point, you are excited beyond measure for the trip. The next, you are sitting on your couch streaming Netflix on cox cable bundles. Life sure is one unpredictable ride.

But, here’s the good news. The world is reopening following months of COVID-19 induced lockdowns. Some countries have already lifted restrictions. Others are in the process of relaxing local protocols. 2021 is looking pretty good as far as traveling is concerned. If you can’t think of places with exotic coastlines then don’t worry. Here are the 5 best cities to travel to for beach:

Florida– The Best Beache In The United States

This southeastern region has 1,197 miles of coastline. Florida is home to some of the best beaches in the United States. It features stunning attractions like Passage and Egmont Keys. In case you make a trip to Florida, don’t forget to visit Anna Maria Island. This seven-mile-long region packs much of Florida’s charm. You will find some great beachside seafood shacks, ice-cream shops, and sun-faded architecture in Anna Maria.

But the best time to see Anna Maria in all her beauty is during the sunset. It has a reputation for being a sleepy town. Dip your toes in the white sand of the beach and munch on your sandwich from Rod & Reel Pier. It doesn’t get any better than that. Also, you can bike your way to Bean Point to witness the lesser-known parts of Anna Maria.

Hawaii– The Most Stunning Beaches In The United State

This US territory is located in the Pacific Ocean. If you reside in the U.S. mainland then you would have to cover 2,000 miles to reach Hawaii. Moreover, it happens to be the only state outside North America. Hawaii is home to some of the most stunning beaches in the United State. If you are a beach lover then you should explore Sunset Beach in Haleiwa, Oahu.

I would advise against using a vehicle while in Haleiwa. You won’t find too many vacant parking spots. So, save yourself both time and trouble and explore this surf town on foot. Notable attractions include Surf N Sea and Aloha General Store. Looking for something tasty to eat? Haleiwa has got plenty of food trucks.

Puerto Rico– The Best Caribbean Island

This Caribbean Island is home to stunning mountains, waterfalls, and the El Yunque tropical rainforest. Few places come close to the richness that Puerto Rico has to offer. If you are a surfing enthusiast then you should visit Rincón. This tropical outpost attracts tourists and wave riders alike. After all, it has some of the best surf and sunsets in the hemisphere.

You will find yourself among surf-board carrying dudes and gals. Other attractions include whale-spotting, horseback riding, and scuba diving. I’d recommend scuba-diving around Desecheo. Feeling a bit tired, relax at a local bar with a drink. Want something better? Try the mojitos of Tamboo Tavern.

An Iconic Beach In California

California sure knows how to party. Also, it is home to an iconic beach town in Santa Barbara. This beautiful coast offers breathtaking views of scenic mountains and crystal blue water. You will also find some great art galleries as well as wine tasting rooms. But it is the exquisite food that attracts beachgoers from around the country.

Visit the Santa Barbara Public Market if you want to check out the best food on the West Coast. At the market, you will find different varieties of local food. The feeling is indeed heavenly. You should also try the clam chowder from Brophy Brothers. Comfort yourself with their signature clam chowder while witnessing the beauty of the harbor.

Virginia– One The Best Beaches In The World

Beachgoers are in love with Virginia. Why, because it is home to one the best beaches in the world. Yes, I’m talking about Virginia Beach. It is truly a summer vacation hub with some exotic attractions. You will find many high-rise hotels and frozen-custard shops. But that’s not even the complete picture. The other half of this tropical paradise is home to a thriving arts community.

That means Virginia is not just popular with beachgoers. It is a destination for everyone that appreciates art and culture. And it’s not just the stunning locations that attract travelers. The food is great too. Munch on some burgers from Commune and Esoteric. You should also try Waterman’s, Surfside Grill. Oh, and one more thing, while you’re visiting do check out the various entertainment acts that feature performances by musicians, stilt walkers, and chalk artists to name a few.
